West Valley Little League will have our annual Board meeting/Election of Officers on Wednesday, September 12 at 7 pm at the Eagle Public Library . Please plan to attend if interested in helping as a board member or if you want to know more about the process of running the league.


Agenda (Tentative as items may be added):

- Presidents Report
- District 2 LL
- Treasurer Report
- Fall Ball Report/Issues (if any)
- Election of New Board Members
- Duck Alley Lease End Planning
- Moving Website from LeaguePro to Thapos


This next season will see a lot of transition as many board members are leaving to move on as their kids age out of little league, my own included. We will have 15 of our 28 board position open.

Please consider putting in for a position as we need moms and dads committed to growing our program and helping all of the families in our league have a positive little league experience. Any of you as team moms, managers, assistant coaches, or parents are qualified to be in any of these positions, as are your spouses. Please discuss with your spouse as we are happy to have a couple work together in one board position during the season if both are interested.

Typically, board member duties take up one meeting a month during the year (usually on Wed nights once a month) and then tasks as assigned to get the season up and off the ground.

As far as election, if more than one person is interested in a position, then a vote will be held during the meeting as to that specific position. If a position is not filled, the position will remain open until someone is ready to step and fill the position. The League needs a full board of people willing to work for our kids and community to be successful!

  6. T-Ball Director
  7. Umpire In Chief
  8. All-Star Coordinator
  9. Equipment Manager
  10. Sponsorship Coordinator
  11. Snack Shack Manager
  12. Fall Ball Director
  13. Social Media Coordinator
  14. Softball Umpire In Chief
  15. Softball Facility Director

I am happy to discuss with any of you what any of these spots look like in terms of commitment at any time. Please call or email me with any questions.

It has been my pleasure to be the President of the League this year and on the board for the past 4 years. I appreciate all of you who do so much to make this the greatest little league in Idaho.
